Both books great for little hands.
I am an early years educator and have passion for education in the outdoors, I bought this set to use in my Childminding setting.
These books are truly lovely, I would say the adventure journal is fabulous for a child of Primary age. Lots to do and love the journal section at the end.
I am going to use this book as a journal for our childminding adventures with the 1 year olds I care for. The off the beaten track book is super great to pop in a pocket and for children of most ages to mark things they have spotted.
Looking forward to using them
Set would make a lovely present for a nature mad 6-10 yr old.

My daughter was given the 'Off the Beaten Track' package earlier this year and she has now completed most of it - it's been an absolute joy. The level of thought and care that has gone into this product is far superior to anything else I've seen. The images are all absolutely beautiful, and I liked the careful blend of things that were easy to find with more niche discoveries. I really appreciated the way the searches are set out by area - country and town, beach and moorland, for example - as it meant this became a real in-depth project, to find everything. My daughter now asks for her book and pencil every time we go for a walk!

These cards are really lovely. They are ideal to look at before and after a day rock pooling. They are beautifully illustrated and perfect for identifying things you might see at the beach. I like the added interesting fact on each card too.
